How Guide works
Guide processes your message to determine what you’re asking for, searches Auth0 sources for relevant information, then generates a summarized response based on what it found along with links to the referenced materials. You can ask follow-up questions, validate its responses using the provided links, and give feedback on Guide by rating its responses. For Enterprise subscription customers: If you configure security monitoring alerts in Security Center, Guide helps you troubleshoot incidents and suggests security guidance from a relevant incident playbook. For example, as shown in the following screenshot, when a significant bot surge triggers your alert, Guide recommends remediation steps from the Bot Detection Attack playbook, such as activating CAPTCHA for affected authentication flows, and prompts you to inspect relevant events in the tenant logs.
Use Guide
You can access Guide by selecting the Ask Guide button in the top-right corner of the . When you select Ask Guide, Guide pops up, prompting you to ask about Auth0 features. It may suggest questions relevant to your current location in the Auth0 Dashboard. For example, if you’re under Branding > , Guide will prompt you with questions about Universal Login, such as:- What is Universal Login?

- How do I set up passkeys?

Questions Guide cannot answer
Guide cannot answer questions that do not relate to the Auth0 product or platform, or are specific to your tenant or configuration, such as:- What connections do I have enabled?
- How many users logged in to my application last month?
- Which is better? Vim or Emacs?
Do not submit personal or other sensitive data to Guide.

Your messages are safeguarded by Okta’s enterprise-grade security and compliance standards. Guide does:- Use provided messages to search public Auth0 sources for relevant information.
- Access your account or tenant data.
